Another piece of an ugly puzzle
While I dislike the fact that there are 13 states where this is an option, I am disgusted by the fact that it is one sided. I don't have a problem with being against abortion, but don't offer up state sanctions of one side of the argument without offering up the other as well. Certainly not in something as seemingly inconsequential as license plates!

Not surprising: It's Tennessee.
Surprising: People in Tennessee can read? When did that happen?
What a disappointment! So that means that in the 13th states that offer a "Choose Life" plate, there isn't enough pressure from the abortion rights groups on the state government. THOSE are the states where NARAL, NOW and Planned Parenthood need more focus. And if you know women living there, please spread the word about these outrages!
These are the states that offer Choose Life plates: Alabama, Arkansas, Connecticut, Florida, Hawaii, Louisiana, Maryland, Mississippi, Montana, Ohio, Oklahoma, South Dakota, Tennessee and soon to be Kentucky. (go figure... 5 of those also have yet to ratify the ERA).
I saw a FLA one the other day. I was actually gonna post something about it... but I forgot and just wrote about sex and booze instead.
