Love and Cocktails
So, my partner and I just celebrated six delightful years together. Not everything has been peaches and cream, but overall it's been pretty damned good. We decided that as a part of our celebration, we would have a cocktail party with some of our dearest friends. At this party there were all of the critical components; friends, laughter, music, food, dancing, a camera, and last but certainly not least...booze, and lots of it.
My good friend Patrick was kind enough to immortalize most of us, that night. Here is the link to view the pictures.

I do have one questions though, and yes, it is rhetorical. Why is it that when looking at pictures of oneself, the camera always sees, and then documents, a completly different person than you do? Perhaps another question, this is directed at Tony, my inconspicuous partner of six years, why aren't there any pictures of you?

Dear, there are no photos of me for two reasons. 1--I worked medicine on Patrick which prevented him from succeeding in any snaps of me. 2--I worked it on the camera so that, in the event my influence on Patrick failed, it would take nothing but blurry redness. Love.

Dahling--You look mahvelous! Will you look at the smile on my face in the pic of us dancing?!?
Meeowwwww!
But at least it makes sense that Patrick isn't in any pictures, he took all of them, but Tony?!?!?! You can't pay off the man sweet enough to document your own anniversary party!
