Usually when I go well over a month without an entry here, it's because I simply haven't had time to breathe. The same goes for the last month-plus, sorry. Here is a quick catch up for those of you who don't know:
1.
At Home; i.e. in the house. Tony and I are moving less than three days now. The house is in a state of highly organized chaos, I can't find a damned thing because everything but my nylons and motor oil has been packed. The cat won't stop pissing in the basement. The humidity is so high that everything is musty or moldy and feels damp. Okay, let's sum up... I am currently living in a cat-piss soaked, moldy, mound of my own belongings waiting not-so-patiently until moving day.
2.
At Work; I was temping, and that went extremely well. It did go well, in fact, it went so well that they wanted to take me with them to New Hampshire. And you know what??? I was going to go. I was going to pick up and leave my fiance for three weeks. Leave him here to move us and our home all the way across town. I was going to do it, and I had everyone's blessing as this offer was so rare that I got the feeling that it was the first such offer made. Ever. But nope, no NH for me. Instead I went 15 rounds with both the company that asked me to go, and the temp agency, and instead took the moral high ground. Now I'm unemployed and broke, but at least I feel good about myself.
3.
Family; There have been a chain of medically brought on demands as of late, which I will not go into here. But did you like the way I told you something was happening, but didn't really say anything? It's because I'm so cool...
4.
Wedding; There haven't been any new developments on this front, well not really, just a lot of opinions and dumbfounded moments that I know I will be sharing with my readership (yeah, that means the three of you).
