It's just one question Claire!

Perhaps I am just not paying attention...but I didn't hear anything about this on the news last week! It really chaps my ass when, what I consider to be, important news items get bumped!

So now that that is out...What is it going to take to have the damned FDA approve this pill? Everything in it is already legal, and one would think that the pro-lifers would be all in favor of it because it's not an abortion. Although, I understand some people would disagree with me on that one.

It strikes me as yet another way to keep young and poor women in their "place." By continually closing doors to women that may perhaps let them focus on their own needs, their own lives, we perpetuate a poverty, ignorance, hunger, desperation. If women were able to wait, by what ever means nescessary, to start a family until they aren't children themselves, and I don't mean just chronologically, then we would have a good deal more happy families.

Anyone else have any thoughts?
