I don't usually link to news items, but
this one deserves some attention.
Some may ask why I chose to comment on an issue that doesn't apply to me, especially when I so infrequently comment about any news article.
I remember, very clearly, the injustice of age discrimination. There is no good reason for anyone in this republic to be unfairly targeted because of something so petty as demographics. Furthermore, I find it abhorrent that *only* the ACLU will champion this cause. Where are their representatives?
The article clearly points out that this person was being targeted because they had attended a party earlier that night. Since when is partying illegal (?) or sleeping, being at home...it just goes on and on.
I know that I am rambling and this is disjunct. But invasion of privacy is disgusting no matter what the age of the victim is. This strikes me as another piece in a chaotic puzzle of control, divisiveness, and injustice that is all too pervasive right now.
