Stream of a Call to Consciousness

Okay, I need to rant:

What the fuck is up with this political and social heist that Shrub and his little twigletts are trying. And why is there so little, comparatively, being done to fight it?

The Republiscums are actively, openly, and boorishly pursuing their closed minded, power usurping, exclusionary, and elitist agenda. Fine, they suck and they're going to do that, but what is up with the middle and the left? I mean why, in the name of all that is decent and right, aren't we, the people, taking to the streets? The things that this administration is attempting, and often times succeeding in, is abhorrent to all that is American.

I write my representatives, and continuously discuss, inform, and sometimes lecture, the people I know into being active, but one person is only capable of so much. Politicians are stuck in their game playing, everything being negotiable, like the REAL ID, and are sometimes rendered ineffectual because of that. It's like people have given up the power that they have because they think it is somehow untouchable.

WAKE THE FUCK UP PEOPLE! Your freedom, liberty and life as you know it hangs by a delicate thread, because YOU refuse to reweave the tapestry that is democracy. In order to have a government OF THE PEOPLE, the people need to participate. That means YOU.

Get off you ass, away from you damned TV, X-Box, I-Pod, or any other abbreviated electronic stupefying plastic and metal piece of crap and do something important.
